DisneyBound Challenge – Days 5-8

5 to 8

This month I am participating in the March DisneyBound Challenge! Each day Elizabeth and I will be DisneyBounding to follow the prompts created by @thedisneybound and I will be discussing our outfit choices on this blog. As a reminder, here are this year’s prompts:

DBC2019

Day 5 – Princess and the Frog

Bon Mardi Gras! The Princess and the Frog day occurred on Mardi Gras and the movie takes place in New Orleans – I don’t think this was a coincidence! For this day, we decided to represent Tiana and Lottie. I wore my yellow dress along with my army-green jacket for Tiana’s daily outfit. I wanted to pair it with my frog pendant and/or ring but, alas, moving has made finding things SO difficult so I went without. I did, however, wear my frog hat. As Lottie, Elizabeth wore a pink shirt, pink pants, and her pink headband – ALL the pink!

Day 6 – Disney Best Friends

There is not as classic a pair of best friends (from a female side) as Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck so that is who we decided to DisneyBound as for Disney Best Friends. I wore a white long-sleeved shirt under my purple dress (again) with my pink headband. Elizabeth wore her Minnie Mouse dress which is so adorable with the black sweater top and red polka dot tutu and her Minnie Mouse headband. I think we made an adorable pair!

Day 7 – Marvel

I had an idea of who I wanted to be on Marvel day but all that went out the window on the morning of when I changed my mind entirely and made us Groot and Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy. For Groot I wore my brown sweater and leaf headband as a necklace. As Rocket, Elizabeth wore her orange onesie with her striped pants and a black headband. She rocked her Rocket ‘bound!

Day 8 – Disney Heroines

I had some ideas for this day but after seeing some really creative stuff for Pixar day I changed my mind and decided to DisneyBound as Joy and Sadness. They eventually save the day making them unlikely but true heroines. I’ve never DisneyBounded as Sadness, but I received this blue sweater for Christmas that made me think of her every time I looked at it so I knew what I would be wearing. I just paired that with some blue jeans and it was perfect.

For Elizabeth, I put her in a yellow onesie with her yellow tutu from Halloween and then a blue headband for Joy’s hair. I was really inspired by @laurenwasyluk because she dressed her baby as Joy earlier in the challenge and I knew I had to copy her (I even told her so in the comments). So we jumped into the ball pit with some Core Memory balls to take our pictures for Heroine day!

DisneyBound Challenge – Days 1-4

Hi Friends!

I’m back to doing recaps of my DisneyBounds since March is the DisneyBound Challenge Month! Here are days 1-4:

DBC1

This year’s prompts were posted a few weeks ago so I was able to start to come up with fun outfits early enough to be prepared. As a reminder to those of you who have already been following my blog, here are the prompts:

DBC2019

I’ve already successfully DisneyBounded Days 1-4 as well as added DisneyBounds for my daughter so we’re starting strong!

Day 1 – Tangled

I love the movie Tangled and wanted to DisneyBound as Flynn Ryder (aka Eugene Fitzherbert). I have this great denim shirt that was once a maternity shirt so it now fits a bit longer so I could wear it over leggings. I have tan leggings but I cannot for the life of me find them in the move so I wore my brown ones. If I had my tan leggings I would have worn my brown boots but since I had my brown leggings I wore my tan boots. I cinched the shirt with my brown belt and then wore my brown purse to represent Eugene’s satchel.

Elizabeth played the part of my Rapunzel. She, for some reason, does not have any purple so she wore a light pink onesie with an adorable pink skirt that my friend bought her. Of course, I had to let her go barefoot and she LOVED it (she is always kicking off her socks). I then found this light purple/pink flower headband that she could wear in her hair to complete the look.

Day 2 – Pixar

For Pixar Day we were Mike and Sully. I wore my light purple dress and jean jacket with my blue scarf as Sully. Elizabeth wore her green onesie and a blue headband to represent Mike’s hat. We posed peeking out of the closet door and Elizabeth was cracking up the entire time – generating huge amounts of energy for Monstropolis! We also discovered that it was 2319 day in countries that write their dates d/m/yy so we got to celebrate 2319 for a second time in two months!

Day 3 – Winnie-the-Pooh

We LOVE Winnie-the-Pooh – Elizabeth’s bedroom is Winnie-the-Pooh themed and so was my baby shower. We’ve already DisneyBounded as Kanga and Roo (see the recap here) and Elizabeth made a good Pooh Bear to my Christopher Robin when we went to see Christopher Robin last summer, so we decided on Eeyore and Piglet. I wore my denim shirt again (this shirt is so comfortable so any excuse to wear it works for me) and navy blue leggings. I then put a pink bow in my hair to represent the bow on Eeyore’s tail.

Elizabeth has so much pink that making her Piglet was pretty easy. She wore her pink pants with a light pink shirt (which also looked really comfy) and we posed with Pooh Bear and Tigger and a “hunny” pot from my baby shower. I also lay out one of Elizabeth’s Winnie-the-Pooh blankets and we posed next to the Hundred Acre Wood artwork on her wall (she has so much Winnie-the-Pooh art so it was difficult to choose where to pose).

Day 4 – Zootopia

I love Zootopia but I have never really been a fan of animal prints (aside from the occasional zebra print because of a college retreat but that’s a different story…) so that always makes it more complicated for me. I was tempted to do Judy and Nick but I was Judy last DisneyBound Challenge and I wanted to do something different. I’ve really wanted to do Fru Fru but I was going to save her for St. Patrick’s Day because of the clovers on her dress, but I changed my mind at the last minute.

For Fru Fru I wore my green wrap dress and some gold jewelry with my hair up in a mini bouffant. Elizabeth was one of Fru Fru’s friends and wore a blue dress with blue leggings and my sunhat that kept falling into her face which was adorable. I also used Target bags to make the “Targoat” bags from the scene in the movie where they almost get run over by a giant doughnut (I wish I also had a giant doughnut – LOL). Elizabeth just wanted to eat the bag (this is what you get when you have a teething baby) but she always looks adorable anyway so it was fine.

Life Is A Highway (and so is fashion?)

You’ve probably guessed it – ROAD TRIP!!

The last week in January we set out on a journey joining up with a larger group of people to take part in a Lemon’s Rally – a group of cars traveling from one point to the next in “lemon” cars (or just really old cars, or any car that would normally give you a disadvantage on the road, basically). We took our old Buick Roadmaster that my husband had bought and used as a tow vehicle for a while and which we love spending time in – mainly because it feels like we’re just hanging out on our living room couch. The rally awards points for all sorts of things along the way and is basically like a big scavenger hunt. We also got to dress up the car to go along with our team theme – which we decided would be Disney-Pixar’s Cars themed! I’m sure you know where I’m going with this because we could not theme our car without also themeing our outfits!

Ribbet collage

Day 1 – Moscow, PA to Pittsburgh, PA

Our first day of the rally was SO cold! We were up super early and on the road to registration in the negative-degree weather. Although you can’t see our Disneybounds under all our layers, they were as follows:

  • Dom – Lightning McQueen: Red Cars shirt that reads “Float like a Cadillac, Sting like a Beemer”, jeans
  • Juli – Mater: rust colored sweater, jeans, brown boots, Route 66 purse
  • Lizzie – Sally: blue onesie, jean jacket, blue headband, blue socks, silver leggings

It was a long, cold day in the car but we were parked next to the right people at start up and continued to run with them the entire rally. Lizzie was a champ but by the end of the day we were all worn out so we got to bed quickly at the hotel in Pittsburgh.

Day 2 – Pittsburgh, PA to Lexington, KY

Day 2 saw us leaving Pittsburgh and traveling to Kentucky by way of Ohio and West Virginia. We followed the Ohio River through some really cool places and nearer warmer weather. We didn’t get a picture of all of us during day 2, but our Disneybounds were:

  • Dom – Ramone: Ramone’s Body Shop shirt, jeans
  • Juli – Flo: mint shirt, white sweatshirt, jeans, Route 66 purse
  • Lizzie – Fillmore: mint onesie, mint sweater, gray pants

This was such a fun day with the highlight being Hillbilly Hot Dogs in Lesage, WV. We ended up eating here and it was just such a cool experience. From the atmosphere to the hot dogs, this is one place I would eat at again! I can’t wait to bring my parents and sister there – it was that much fun. You sort of have to see it to understand. I would definitely recommend visiting in warmer weather though.

Day 3 – Lexington, KY to Nashville, TN

By the third day we were grateful that final check-in was at 3pm. Sitting in the car was taking it’s toll on all of us and it was nice to get out and look at other cars for a change. We met at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville and arrived to beautiful weather – you could even see our Disneybounds in the photos from the impromptu car show!

  • Dom – Doc Hudson: blue shirt, blue jeans
  • Juli – Smokey: orange shirt, orange plaid shirt, jeans, Route 66 purse
  • Lizzie – Cruz Ramirez: yellow onesie, yellow sweater, blue leggings, yellow socks

At the 3pm meet-up we were judged on an unknown set of critera for our cars while we got to check out the museum which had a huge selection of cars from the private collection of Jeff Lane. Afterwards we checked into our hotel and then got together at a bar across the street for dinner.

Day 4 – Nashville, TN to Leeds, AL

The final leg of our trip was definitely the warmest and one of the most anticipated. By the time we pulled into Barber Motorsports Park it was dusk, though, and we never got a family “end of race” photo. For this day we were:

  • Dom – Michael Schumacher: Ferrari shirt, jeans
  • Juli – Luigi: black long-sleeved shirt, yellow shirt, black pants, Route 66 purse
  • Lizzie – Guido: blue onesie, gray pants

We walked around all the cars to see how all had fared, listened to the awards and the cars being recognized, and then met up with some new friends for some post-rally BBQ!

An extra touch that I added for these Disneybounds, and often the only part of the ‘bound visible with the cold weather, was creating car eyes for each of us on each day. I was particularly proud of these DIY accessories and I may post about it at a later date but I think it really made the Disneybounds stand out.

This trip was beyond cool and we will definitely be doing another. To see all of the stops we made on the way, check out my Instagram posts from January 29th through February 1st at @Rogue_Princess_

Preparing for a Month of Style

Hi Friends!

I know I’ve been pretty scarce with my posting lately and that’s with good reason – over the last month I’ve been moving! We got back from our vacation and got our keys the next day but we still have another week to complete the move and it has been a PROCESS. We’ve been really lucky to have had a lot of help from family with watching the baby and moving the big stuff but it’s been so difficult to move all the little stuff (read: clothes). I will post some follow ups on the Lemon’s Rally and then moving in the near future but for now, I wanted to pop on and talk a little more about the upcoming March Disneybound Challenge (read my initial post here) since it will be starting this week.

In December, as some of you know, I participated in Dressember with a group of Disneybounders. During that challenge, I relied on hanger tags to organize my daily outfits and themes. For the March Disneybound Challenge this year I have stepped it up a notch by creating hanger tags that can be reused from month to month!

IMG_20190225_194445

I numbered the tags 1-31 and then laminated them. I wrote the theme for each day on the top and on the back I wrote the character/inspiration that I want to do and the items of clothing I own that I will be wearing. (A neat trick if you didn’t already know – permanent marker written on a white board, glass, or plastic can be erased by writing over it with a dry erase marker and then wiping it off. I use this trick all the time at work so I can have semi-permanent labels that can also be easily erased but don’t wipe off when you brush up against it.) Next, I pulled out the outfits in the order I’ll be wearing them and hung them that way in my closet. For some outfits I will be reusing certain articles of clothing so I just leave accessories or an empty hanger with the tag on it so that I can put the item back there after I’ve worn (and washed) the item. Moving has both helped and hindered this process a tiny bit because I both know and don’t know where a lot of my clothes and accessories are. Hopefully everything comes together fine though!

If you decide to participate in the March Disneybound Challenge, make sure to let me know so I can follow you! Here are the prompts again:

March Disneybound Challenge

Hi Friends!

I hope everyone is staying warm on this snowy Monday! I was traveling two weeks ago and am now in the process of moving – more on that at a later date – but I wanted to take a minute to share a style challenge for March!

@thedisneybound posted the prompts for this year’s March Disneybound Challenge today and I wanted to share them in case anyone is interested in joining. It will be my third year participating in the challenge and it is definitely a challenge! Here are this year’s prompts:

DBC2019

I typically put the prompts into an excel file to start planning how I will be following the prompts and what outfits I am going to put together. The prompts this year feel even more challenging than years prior so I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with!

In the next few weeks I may post about the previous years to get into the March spirit 🙂 If you decide to participate, let me know in the comments!!

5 Things No One Told Me About Fashion Before and After Having A Baby

Ribbet collage (2)

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how my wardrobe has changed since becoming pregnant so I thought it was time to write a post about clothes, style, fashion, and having a baby. I will discuss the changes, the trends, and why certain styles are terrible when having a baby. These are the 5 Things No One Told Me:

5. Maternity clothes are expensive.

Maternity style does not come cheap. Clothes geared towards maternity are extremely expensive, especially when you consider the amount of time spent wearing said clothes. My strongest suggestion here is to thrift as much as possible and find clothes that can be worn postpartum as well. Most thrift stores have a maternity section and if you can’t find it, don’t be afraid to ask someone. I was searching our thrift store and was about to give up when my husband found the rack all the way in the back of the ladies section. I then tried on everything in my size and bought all the items that fit me well and were my style. Think of it this way – most people wear maternity clothes for about 3-6 months depending on if they are seasonal, times the amount of children they have. That’s way less than I wear most of my clothes which means the clothes are usually still in really good condition and are the same four brands that pretty much corner the market on Maternity-wear.

4. Nursing clothes are both expensive and hard to find.

I honestly have only found one company so far that specializes in nursing clothes that I love and their clothes are expensive. I registered for some nursing tank tops on a big website (I gave birth over the summer) and they served their purpose but were just not the quality I was looking for. It took me a little while to find a company I love and I bought a bunch of clothes from them – dresses, a romper, even a bathing suit – but it cost me a bunch. I tried to wait for sales but I was nursing constantly in the beginning. Then, the more I looked into nursing-wear, the more I found nursing/maternity wear. I was angry. Not because such a thing existed, but because I didn’t know about it until after I gave birth. This dual-purposed clothing would have been awesome to purchase about four or five months before I gave birth! So I have two recommendations here: if you are still early on in your pregnancy, purchase maternity clothes that can also be nursing clothes, and search for good deals on nursing tops even while pregnant so that you’re ready when the time comes. Also, if you have any nursing clothes brands that you love, please let me know about them in the comments!

3. You will live in nursing bras.

This one is obvious if you are nursing, but I also lived in them while pregnant because when my breasts were sore they were the most comfortable thing to wear. I probably bought these super early on in my pregnancy for the comfort factor but I still wear them every day and haven’t gone back to a regular bra yet. My recommendation is to buy at least three so you can rotate them around. I bought a pretty inexpensive three pack of black, tan, and white and they have been lifesavers.

2. Most maternity shirts you buy, you will never wear again.

Okay, so here I’m talking specifically about the nursing shirts that have sayings on them like “Kiss Me, I’m Pregnant” or ” Ready to Pop” – and yes, I had all of these (see photo above for examples). They were adorable, witty, and great photo ops but after I gave birth I had absolutely no need for them. I’m thinking about giving them to a friend of mine who is pregnant now because they are all so super cute and I want someone to get some use out of them. The shirt I have that says “Due in June” though? I have to find someone who is actually due in June to give that one to (to be fair, I bought that on clearance so I don’t feel as bad about that one). Anyway, if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on clothes you’ll hardly ever wear again, then skip the cute sayings. I love them but don’t have any use for them now. The clothes I did (and still do) get a lot of use out of are basic solid color shirts. I have 3-4 long sleeved solid shirts and 3-4 short sleeved and they are great for any wardrobe.

1. Maternity pants, on the other hand, you’ll want to wear for the rest of your life.

Okay, I might be exaggerating on this one but they are pretty darn comfy. I am still in my maternity jeans (because who has time to get back into my old jeans with a baby?) and don’t even get me started on maternity yoga pants – talk about the most comfortable pants in the world! I definitely think about two pairs of maternity jeans, maybe two pairs of maternity shorts, and all the yoga pants you care to buy is a good recommendation.

thanksgiving

So there you have it – my top 5 things no one told me about fashion before and after having a baby. I hope someone finds this useful, I sure wish I had read it about a year ago but I guess you live and learn! Questions about brands I like or clothes I bought or wish I’d bought? Let me know in the comments!

Dressember – Days 13-16

Dressember4

For the month of December I committed to wearing a dress each day for Dressember, a fundraiser to support the elimiation of human trafficking world-wide (you can read my post about Dressember here if you’d like to learn more: Dressember).

I joined a group of Disneybounders and we followed prompts to dress for the month. Here are the prompts:

43333410_10156774246187292_6399690103572135936_n

Today I’m looking back at days 13-16 to talk about my outfit choices.

Day 13 – Freebie

I was lucky that freebie day fell on the day of my  work Holiday Lunch as we were planning to wear our “ugly sweaters” that day. I ended up getting this adorable “ugly sweater” dress to wear (even though unforeseen circumstances prevented me from wearing it all day).

Day 14 – Winnie the Pooh Characters

This was a real exciting day for me because I had wanted to do a Kanga and Roo Disneybound since before my daughter was born! I wore my tan dress and put my daughter in her blue outfit and held her in my soft carrier. It was probably one of my favorite ‘bounds of the month!

Day 15 – The Emperor’s New Groove

I decided to Disneybound as Kronk for day 15 because I had the best purple dress and only had to pair my blue cardigan and yellow scarf to complete the look. It was both simple and effective and a lot of fun 🙂

Day 16 – Tarzan characters

I was seriously torn when trying to decide on my choice of Tarzan character. I initially thought I’d choose Jane and wear my yellow dress, but when the day arrived I decided I would feel much more comfortable in my black dress and decided to go with Terk. I then added grey leggings for her grey fur and my black boots to finish it off.

Stuck in a Disneybound Rut

I was beyond excited when @thedisneybound announced their first theme week as Peter Pan because Peter Pan is my favorite Disney movie! Since it’s my favorite, however, I’ve done almost all the characters at one point or another and have ‘bounded as Peter Pan more times than I can count. In addition to this, my Peter Pan Disneybounds are not so unique as to decipher one day from another since they all center around the same few pieces of clothing. I bought a shirt about three years ago from a company that specializes in Disneybounding apparel that was very specifically Peter Pan themed. So, to get my money’s worth, I use it constantly in my Peter Pan bounds. This started to make me feel stagnant and limited in my options. At the beginning of this week I decided that I needed to do something different and not just the “same old ‘bounds”. When I woke up yesterday morning, I made the decision to wear one of my sweaters because I wanted to be cozy and I hadn’t worn many of my sweaters yet since I spent December in dresses. I stepped into my closet and stared at my sweaters, thinking “what have I not worn lately and what will still fit me?”. A forest green sweater that I bought last year caught my eye and, even though I told myself that I could just post throwbacks for “Throwback Thursday” and didn’t need a Disneybound, I found myself piecing together an outfit in my head:

“I need to wear that sweater, with a red tank top under it (rummages through shirt drawer for red tank top) and my tan leggings because the brown ones would just feel too dark and the green ones would totally clash. Then I can also wear my new favorite boots that I got for Christmas (and wear every day).”

Thus, an outfit is born. The only thing I added were my Peter Pan earrings (made from a pair of star earrings and some feather accessories a few years back and used for every Peter Pan ‘bound since – when I met Peter Pan in person wearing them, he was very impressed I was able to get three feathers while he only has one).

So I was able to get out of my rut and put together a fresh outfit once I was able to remove any preconceived notions of what my ‘bound should look like from my mind. Sometimes I just have to look at things differently and hopefully, the next time I’m stuck in a rut I can look back at this post and gain new inspiration!

Some new Disneybounds I tried out this week are:

  • John and Michael Darling – I dressed my daughter and I as John and Michael and it was so easy and casual. I put her in pink footie pjs and grabbed her teddy bear (Winnie the Pooh) and donned a grey sweater, black necklace (for her to chew on) and borrowed the little top hat we bought for her to wear on New Year’s Eve. I was really happy with how this all came together with minimal details but instantly recognizable. Bonus – the grey sweater I wore was a piece I thrifted last year!
  • Peter Pan’s shadow – I’ve seen a lot of people doing this, but I never had. I was feeling sort of lazy and threw on my black shirt and then realized I could just throw something together with black pants and it would totally work. It was a little lazy, but I was comfortable and happy.

And some returning favorites:

  • Tinkerbell – I have this nursing tank that I absolutely love and that gives me lots of Tinkerbell vibes. I had only used it once before in a Tinkerbell ‘bound so I thought it was appropriate to use again this week. I threw my hair in a high bun and voila! Tinkerbell!
  • Mr. Smee – This is the second time for this Disneybound as well since I made a Maternity ‘bound out of this shirt the first time I wore it. I wore my blue pants instead of jeans this time (because I love these blue pants and they are SO comfy) and added my red headband. Since today is also wear blue for Human Trafficking Awareness day, I coordinated by choosing a character that wears blue!

Dressember – Days 9-12

Dressember3

For the month of December I committed to wearing a dress each day for Dressember, a fundraiser to support the elimiation of human trafficking world-wide (you can read my post about Dressember here if you’d like to learn more: Dressember).

I joined a group of Disneybounders and we followed prompts to dress for the month. Here are the prompts:

43333410_10156774246187292_6399690103572135936_n

Today I’m looking back at days 9-12 to talk about my outfit choices.

Day 9 – Star Wars

I’m not really into Star Wars so I was low on ideas for this day. Additionally, it was my cousin’s wedding so I needed a pretty fancy dress. I actually was inspired by a dress @gryffmintdor made for a C3PO Disneybound and though I’m definitely not as talented as she is, I realized I had a gold dress that I could turn into a low-key C3PO Disneybound. The gold dress was from @reenie112‘s Masquerade birthday party last year and I basically wore the exact same outfit but without the mask.

Day 10 – Rulebreaker

I took the day after my cousin’s wedding off of work so I figured something low-key for rulebreaker day would be nice. It felt like a bit of a cop-out because I’ve done quite a few Hufflepuff closet cosplays at this point and they tend to be pretty similar, but it was comfy, easy, and good for being home with my daughter. I used a black dress that is actually a nursing dress and my favorite yellow sweater again. I added my Hufflepuff bracelets and golden snitch necklace and was good to go.

Day 11 – The Princess and the Frog

I love frogs. There are so many characters in The Princess and the Frog that I could have chosen but I just had to pull out my frog accessories (in this case, frog ring) and Disneybound as Prince Naveen. I wore a dress that I had used previously in both a Mulan and a Wilderness Explorer Disneybound, paired with a green sweater and, of course, my frog ring.

Day 12 – Fab Five

I love the Fab Five and since I hadn’t done a Goofy Disneybound recently, I decided to pull out my orange dress and bring back my black sweater to represent the big goof! I wore my hair in pony tails for his ears and added my green headband to represent his hat. I then wore my brown boots and took some very Goofy photos 🙂

Thanks for following along!

Dressember – Days 5-8

Dressember2

For the month of December I committed to wearing a dress each day for Dressember, a fundraiser to support the elimiation of human trafficking world-wide (you can read my post about Dressember here if you’d like to learn more: Dressember).

I joined a group of Disneybounders and followed prompts to dress for the month. Here are the prompts:

43333410_10156774246187292_6399690103572135936_n

Today I’m looking back at days 5-8 to talk about my outfit choices.

Day 5 – Animal Character

The animal character I chose for day 5 was Maid Marian because I love Robin Hood and had what was basically the perfect outfit for her. I bought this light purple dress two years ago for a Rapunzel ‘bound and after doing said ‘bound, thought how much it actually reminded me of Maid Marian. I have no idea what happened to my pink sweater that I wore for it but had the idea of wearing a long sleeved pink shirt under the dress. Well, I couldn’t find the pink shirt I wanted to wear either but I found this one in my drawer and realized it was so much better than either of the other two options! The necklace I wore was I think bought for a Pocahontas Disneybound a few years ago as well. Put together, these items formed a Maid Marian Disneybound I am very proud of.

Day 6 – The Little Mermaid

For The Little Mermaid day I wanted to do something different. I thought it would be fun to Disneybound as one of Ariel’s sisters so I looked at images and then chose Aquata. Aquata has a blue tail and top and wears pearls in her hair. I have a blue nursing dress and even though it’s striped, I still felt it worked well enough for her. I then paired that with a blue sweater and some costume pearls.

Day 7 – Any Princess

For me, this was one of the most difficult categories because I’ve done almost every princess in my Disneybound Princess series about two years ago and just didn’t feel like repeating them. I also wanted a new look with a dress I already owned. Pretty last minute (like, I woke up that morning and made the decision) I remembered Jasmine’s market look and so I tried my take on her. I used my really cozy brown sweater dress and a scarf that I got for my cousin’s bachelorette party (we all wore matching scarves, it was really cute) and braided my hair. I threw it together quickly but I really wanted to go for comfort and think it still came out great.

Day 8 – The Lion King

This was one of my favorites and I thought of it pretty quickly. The colors were pretty much perfect for Scar and I had this long black sweater and a necklace that went wonderfully with it from years ago so I was so happy to be able to use it.

Thanks for following along!
