Hi everyone! I did a thing! I created this Bounding Planner and it’s on Amazon now. I’m really excited about it because I used to use spreadsheets a lot to plan my bounds, but I’m not really on the computer as much anymore. Lately I’ve just been jotting things down on different note pads, so this is a way to organize all my bounds. Hopefully you may find it a good tool to organize your bounds as well!
In the front there are monthly planner pages, so if you have monthly challenges you’re participating in or anything like that, you can use this section to write down what each day is, etc. There are 12 monthly pages and the rest of the notebook (100 pages) is filled with these really cool daily outfit planner pages.
The daily outfit planner pages have spaces for date, theme, your specific bound, and then your outfit details. Lines for outfit details include tops, bottoms, feet (socks, shoes, etc), head (hair, hats, hair accessories, etc), makeup, and accessories.
This is really exciting to me because this is exactly what I use to plan my bounds, and I really wanted to share that with all of you! I also hand sketched the little outfit icon that I included on all the pages and designed the pages myself. You can purchase either a white cover or a black cover.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do! To order yours, use these direct links:
It is a challenge to bound using the same item of clothing that fits the theme/color multiple times in a month.
This is a monthly wrap-up of my participation in the challenge including my bounds, outfits, accessories, and some insight behind my style choices.

March’s color of the month was green – which greatly shaped how I approached the March Disneybound Challenge. As I set off to plan the month-long challenge, I kept my green item in mind, resulting in a total of eight bounds for my Green Button Down.
Before I get to the bounds, however, I want to start out by saying that this shirt was only an idea until I found it at the thrift store. What I mean by that is I was planning bounds based on the premise that I would find a Green Button Down at a thrift store and use it. It wasn’t until I found the perfect one that I knew I’d be able to pull this month off. I was walking through my local Goodwill in January and I remember having a shirt that I thought would work, when I finally found the shirt. That was when this all fell into place for me.
Clockwise, from top left, my March bounds are:
Yoshi, Mario Party
Kermit, Muppet Vision 3-D
The Tree of Life, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
Peter Pan, Peter Pan on Broadway
Sarge, Cars
The Incredible Hulk, Marvel Comics
Pizza Planet Green Alien, Toy Story
Robin Hood, Robin Hood
Yoshi, Mario Party
The prompt for 3/10 was “MAR10” (Mario) so I wanted to bound as Yoshi since he’s the character I usually select when I would play Mario Party in college. Since his belly is white, I wore a white dress as my base and left the Green Button Down unbuttoned over it. I was still pregnant when I took these pictures, so you can see my belly sticking out in front of me. For Yoshi’s red shell, I turned my red purse into a mini backpack (which came out better than I expected) and then I wore one of my green knit hats on my head. I chose the hat that almost has the appearance of a turtle shell because I thought it would give more of an idea of a shell.
Kermit, Muppet Vision 3-D
March 12th was “Disney Parks Day” so I chose to bound as the side of the Muppet Vision 3-D show as Kermit! This one was fairly simple as bounds go – just the Green Button Down and my green frog hat. I had to get the pose just right so I could edit the Muppet Vision logo onto it and I think it came out really well.
The Tree of Life, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
For March 17th, the prompt was “It isn’t easy being green” for St. Patrick’s Day, and I also wanted to participate in #BoundtoThrift, making it the perfect chance to use my thrifted Green Button Down. I was trying to think of something environmental and decided on the Tree of Life. Over the Green Button Down I wore my forest green sweater. I paired them with my tan leggings and brown boots. I’m my hair I wore my gold leaf headband for the leaves and I wore an earth tone necklace that I made in college around my neck. To incorporate more of the animal designs on the tree I wore my zebra scarf and my upcycled frog earrings.
Peter Pan, Peter Pan on Broadway
March 22nd was “Disney on Broadway” day. Although I’ve seen quite a few Disney shows on Broadway, I went with a bit of a rule breaker since Peter Pan on Broadway is not technically Disney. My reasoning, however, is that I was obsessed with the Disney movie Peter Pan as a girl and so for my first Broadway show, my family took me to Peter Pan on Broadway. The poster from the show hung in my bedroom for most of my childhood and I was excited to attempt to recreate it. For the bound, I wore my Green Button Down under my unbuttoned olive green dress. I belted it with my brown belt, and wore my dark green pants, brown moccasins, and green headband as well. I am still so proud of the pose I was able to get right for this one and the edits I made.
Sarge, Cars
For “Radiator Springs” day of the Disneybound Challenge on March 27th, I wanted to bound one of the residents of Radiator Springs. I’ve blinded so many already and wanted to do someone I’ve never done before, so I decided to choose someone based on my Green Button Down. Eventually I decided on Sarge, and, again, wore my olive green dress unbuttoned over it. Instead of my brown belt, this time I used the drawstring from the dress to cinch the waist. I wore my black leggings and black work boots for his wheels and my green headband for a little more army green color. I added my white star necklace for the star on Sarge’s hood and topped it all off with my Route 66 purse that I bought at a small town curio shop while driving Route 66 with my husband on our honeymoon!
The Incredible Hulk, Marvel Comics
I had the idea for my Hulk bound for “Star Wars vs Marvel” day on March 26th while I was still pregnant as another maternity bound. That is why I look so pregnant in my Hulk picture! For this bound, I wore a black shirt under my Green Button Down, with the buttons opened on the bottom and my belly popping out. I paired it with my burgundy pants, like the purple pants he wears in the comics. I then went barefoot and gave my best Hulk pose!
Pizza Planet Green Alien, Toy Story
“Outer Space” day was March 23rd and I really wanted to bound as my favorite green aliens. I’ve bounded them before, so I wanted to do a new take on them. I wore my Green Button Down under my blue dress with my purple infinity scarf. I added my pizza necklace and put my Pizza Planet Green Alien cozy from Once Upon A Cozy on my water bottle (use coupon code JULIANNE15). Altogether I just love a Pizza Planet Green Alien bound!
Robin Hood, Robin Hood
March 16th was “character crush” day so I had to choose Robin Hood, because for an animated character he’s especially romantic. Robin Hood was one of my favorite movies growing up and it still stands today as just such a great movie. Also, I had my husband dress as Robin Hood the previous month for “cutest couple” day (if you remember from my February post) so it was a bit of a throwback to that as well. For Robin Hood, I wore the Green Button Down with my burgundy skirt. I put on my arrow bangle bracelet and arrow necklace and my red feather earring. I also wore my brown boots and took a few extra pictures holding my stuffed fox.
With the March Disneybound Challenge, March is always a busy month. I was happy to have been able to get eight bounds out of my Green Button Down shirt and I look forward to wearing it again for future bounds (or day to day)! For more photos, follow my Instagram: @rogue_princess_
The second to last theme for the DisneyBound Challenge this year was Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. My friend Jean (@disneymamaknowsbest) invited Elizabeth and I to ‘bound alongside her and her daughter as the four participants at the Tea Party! She and her daughter chose to represent Alice and the Mad Hatter so Elizabeth and I portrayed the Dormouse and the March Hare!
Jean and I had previously ‘bounded together as the Tweedles over the summer last year and we also discovered last year that our daughters have similar tea sets so we thought it would be super fun to host our virtual tea party together as only the Mad Hatter and March Hare could 😉
It was super fun and I hope to one day get to meet up with them in person, but a virtual tea party was perfect for the current situation and distance between us (>900 miles)!
As the March Hare, I wore my burgundy shirt from Latched Mama (which I bought way back when I was breastfeeding) over brown leggings. I wore a red sweater over it and did my hair in some pig-tail twists that always give me bunny vibes (I think this is based on the old ads of that Nesquik rabbit that’s ears twist up – LOL) and had an orange bow and yellow bow to represent the March Hare’s bow tie and hair. I also threw on some pretty black flats that my mom handed down to me that are super comfy and cute for a day spent inside.
Elizabeth played the part of the Dormouse in a purple onesie, pink pants, and pink fleece. She wore her pink ballet slippers because we weren’t going outside and, again, they were cute and comfy for a day in the house.
Jean and her daughter were super cute also and had the most perfect accessories! Jean says:
Why yes I made my tiny hat it’s actually a Christmas tree topper and out of a yogurt container. Swipe for all the fun pictures and a close up of the rocking horse fly and bread and butterfly lapel pins I made for my mini’s outfit
We loved playing tea party and made Dom take like a hundred pictures but only two or three came out (he doesn’t really have much patience). Together, though, all four of us looked awesome!
Check out our pictures on Instagram and comment here or there if we just made your unbirthday very merry 😉
Before the challenge started, I was invited to a group message to collaborate with fellow DisneyBounders and discuss plans, possible group bounds, and to support each other through the process by Kelly (@krazykellypics). There were a few group ‘bounds thrown together through this group (2 of my XPICE Girls came from this group) and one of the groups Kelly wanted to put together was a Pirates of the Caribbean group ‘bound for Disney Ride Characters day. I had initially thought of doing Figment and the Dreamfinder for this day since Figment is one of my favorites, but, as I was looking at the picture Kelly sent that she wanted to recreate, I realized I had clothes that would fit one of the pirates well and they were still in need of that one so I volunteered.
The picture (above) is of the three pirates in the jail cell trying to get the attention of the dog with the keys to let them out. I volunteered for the guy in the denim-looking shirt holding out the bone with tan pants and what looked like a shirt tied around his neck as well (it sort of reminded me of my grandmother’s style). My look included a denim shirt I got when I was pregnant that fits more like a dress now, over my tan leggings. I tied a scarf around my neck, and used my white headband in my hair. I still wanted to incorporate Elizabeth into the ‘bound, so I made her the bone (LOL) to post in additional pictures behind the full group pic. Once I got my pictures taken, I edited them to make me look like I was in the ride itself and sent it to the group!
Lizz (@nailizz) was the second to send in her photo and I was able to edit hers in right away. She was ‘bounding as the pirate kneeling to my right, coaxing the dog to come our way. Kelly (@krazykellypics) sent her photo over next, posing as the dog with the key – including her own key necklace! She sent a bunch of really cute poses of the dog, obviously, ignoring us, and it was so perfect. Jamie (@wilderness_explorer_tribe54) was last, but certainly not least, to send over her picture. She ‘bounded as the pirate to my right, trying to catch the dog with a rope. Her rope belt was the perfect addition to this ‘bound and really tied it all together (see what I did there?)!
How did we do? Let me know in the comments or head to instagram – @rogue_princess_ – to let me know there!
While planning my ‘bounds for this month, I was stumped at Fox Acquisition day. The only thing that stood out to me from the acquisition was Anastasia, and I hated that movie because it pretty much made me terrified of trains as a kid. Probably an unpopular opinion, but that’s what it did to me.
This led to me searching the internet trying to see what else was acquired and trying to decide if any of it was anything I actually liked. When I saw the X-Men, I was so excited! I honestly don’t know how I forgot that the Fox Acquisition brought the Marvel Universe back together under the same roof, probably because I just keep thinking Marvel Studios is Marvel everything. But I digress. I knew that this would mean ‘bounding as Rogue, of course, but then I had to decide – should I do other ‘bounds as well? What style should it be in? etc.
I remembered the artwork I had purchased at ACBC in 2016 from Michael Calero depicting five X-(wo)Men in the style of the Spice Girls. Reenie and I had talked about doing a group cosplay in that style but never got around to it and so I decided a ‘bound was the perfect opportunity to do so!I put it out there to Reenie and some of my other ‘bounding friends and within a day or two had put a group together! Let me just tell you, I could not have asked for a more talented group than these ladies! I asked for pictures by mid-week so I could edit them together in time for Saturday and, boy, did they deliver.
Katie’s (@bound.and.rebound) picture came in first. She put together an amazing Jubilee look and set the bar high for everyone else. She even managed to add the sunglasses to the top of her head that looked just right!
A few days later Lizz (@nailizz) sent over her ‘bound of Storm. It was of high caliber as well and got me really anticipating how the whole project would come out. I think my favorite part are her black gloves that looked so funky and very Storm.
Since I felt I needed to step up my game, I finally took my pictures a few days later and then began to edit all the pictures together! I initially had an outfit in mind, but when I photographed it, the colors didn’t really work. Instead, I paired my Wolverine tank dress (yes, it may seem weird, but it is yellow with an X-Men belt and under my jacket you can’t see the Wolverine stripes) with my green leggings. I wore my yellow cosplay boots, yellow gloves, and brown jacket. In my hair I wore my white headband to represent her hair (I couldn’t find my green headband too, but it still worked). My goal was to keep it looking like a ‘bound and less like a cosplay and I think I did that. It would have looked weird without the gloves to I needed to leave them in. The pictures this time came out better than I even imagined they would! This was about the time I started my edits and sent out the first draft with just the three of us.
I think that pushed Reenie (@thefangirlsdilemma / The Fangirl’s Dilemma ) to send hers my way (plus, she was waiting to borrow a scarf from her mom) so I received hers the next night! Her Jean Grey was perfect and I quickly added her to my edits so far.
Em (@disneyfan335) was waiting on a piece or two to complete her Kitty Pryde look that came in just in time! She did an awesome job posing as Kitty popping out of the wall and even had her own little Lockheed!
I put my finishing touches on the edited photo and sent it out the day before! When all was complete, it was AWESOME and we also got some likes and shares from Michael Calero (@michaelcalero / www.michaelcalero.com)!

Today’s prompt for the March Disneybound Challenge was 1920’s Style. I was really struggling with this prompt because I had no idea how to bound in 20’s style and not make it look like a costume! I had a flapper costume from a party I attended years ago that was red. The red had me trying to come up with a suitable character for that dress. I eventually landed on Iago when my Iago vs Jafar poll during Aladdin week went in favor of Jafar. I promised my followers I would share an Iago look during March, anticipating using that red dress with some blue and yellow accents.
Leading into the month of March I struggled thinking about using the red dress and feeling too costume-y for a disneybound. I started second guessing my choice and was actually considering a Robin Hood or Peter Pan look around Robin Hood day since I also had a cute green dress with beads that I could still pair with the red feather headband. I was really stuck on how to get my daughter involved, though, and could not come up with a character for her or even an outfit! Although I could easily do a bound without her, I love incorporating her into my bounds as well and having someone to bound with.
By the end of last week, schools, churches, counties, all started shutting down due to COVID-19. Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Walt Disney World all announced park closures and the fear and disappointment started leaking into this typically positive Disney community. Everyone began to talk about what was going on related to the virus and were also thankful for the positivity of the Disneybound Challenge in the midst of it all. By Saturday afternoon I found out my county was locking down on Sunday – putting a halt to all of my plans for my husbands birthday (that I’d been working on since January, mind you). While this was a minimal loss compared to the countless trips and events having to be cancelled world-wide, it was something a lot of people were looking forward to as a distraction from this all and now it would have to wait.
I began thinking about emotions and the movie Inside Out and how I might be able to incorporate it into the challenge in the next few days. I realized that two of my dresses I was contemplating using for 1920’s day would work for Anger and Disgust. I had already done a Dapper Disgust bound as well, so I had a cute headpiece I could pull out that would work for 1920’s style. Anger was pretty straight-forward with the red look. The only issue I had now, though, was that I couldn’t just do two emotions and leave out the rest. Should I reach out to others to do some looks? But then I would still only do one.
I then thought of a blue beaded top that I had from a while back that would look 1920’s for Sadness. It was a dark blue, but that didn’t matter, I could make it work. Fear was a little more difficult because I didn’t have hounds-tooth, but I remembered seeing a lot of Bennie the Cab looks on Roger Rabbit day that incorporated hounds-tooth for checkered looks and realized that black and white stripes could work just as well! I then felt set with four of the five emotions, figuring I could play the rest by ear. The issues came when I actually set out to start photographing the looks.
I searched my closet, the attic, and my dresser and could not find my blue beaded shirt. At long last, I decided to just grab what I needed for the other three and bring them downstairs so that I could start taking photos in the kitchen. I opened the bag that my faux pearl necklace was in, expecting to find my black gloves, but finding my black boa instead. I figured it would work well with Fear, so I started with him. I donned my black and white striped dress (probably my favorite of the lot) and knotted my daughter’s fuchsia necklace around my neck. I grabbed the boa, pinned up my hair, and put on my pearl earrings. I then borrowed a hat from my daughter’s stuffed mule that my mother-in-law had bought her on Wednesday because it was actually a clip and that inspired me. It looked super cute but was pink (oops) so I needed to edit my photo to make it purple instead. I tried a handful of “fear” facial expressions, landing on one I thought looked best.
After that, I changed dresses in the corner of my kitchen, hoping my neighbors couldn’t see in our window! This time I put on my green dress that I never wear because it’s one-shoulder and left on the jewelry but swapped the hat for the fascinator I wore for Dapper Day in 2017. I had practiced my Disgust face a ton in 2017, but I was a little rusty 2.5 years later! After practicing a bit, I finally took a picture I liked.
Next, I changed into my red flapper dress which didn’t even fit past my hips anymore! Luckily I was only taking photos of my top half so no one would be able to tell! I wore it as a top and swapped the fuchsia necklace for my faux-pearls and the fascinator for my red feather headband. This was the look I was afraid would be too costume-y, but combined with the rest, actually looked good.
I then needed to think up my Joy and Sadness looks because I was almost at a loss. I decided to take a break and get my pictures taken for Wednesday instead. While looking for my purple dress, I noticed my Elsa shirt tucked into my closet from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 2017. I all of a sudden realized how great a blue sequined shirt would be for Sadness! With this game-changer, I rushed to put together my Sadness look. I had already taken my hair down at this point and didn’t feel like doing the same thing again so I opted for some quick braids, wrapping my hair so that it looked a little more 20’s. I then found a blue ribbon when looking for a headband and tied it around my head, topping it off with my daughter’s Elsa bow (hey, if I’m reusing my Elsa shirt, I may as well use an Elsa headpiece too. See the Elsa pose –>). I used my faux-pearls again and felt pretty confident in the bound, but a lot less confident in my frown.
As someone who loves to smile for the camera, looking sad on purpose was a real struggle. I tried and tried and tried and it took me a ridiculously long time to get it right. I think channeling some of Sadness’s arm poses helped a bit, but I was still a little doubtful.
This yellow shirt just didn’t do it for me. Also note the little hand trying to get my attention!
After that I just needed to find the right look for Joy. I was going to use this yellow shirt I have, but it didn’t look right. Eventually (like, a day later), I remembered my yellow dress and decided it would work — it did. I definitely looked Joyful using my blue scarf as a boa and borrowing my daughter’s Elsa bow again. I forgot my earrings, but they’re not really the focal point anyway so it didn’t matter.
That day, my daughter’s play coffee cup that I ordered also came in and I figured it was the perfect opportunity for her to be Rainbow Unicorn. She was already wearing her unicorn pajamas to bed so I added her unicorn sweatshirt and let her ignore me while sipping her coffee. It all worked out great in the end.
After all the posing and face making and changing in the kitchen I added color filters for each photo to reinforce who the bound was supposed to be. I set up my post, decided what to write, and voila! it was ready.
If you made it this far, I also want to let you know that I did all this in sweatpants and bare feet without leaving my house.
Stay Safe out there!! I’m currently still working but I’m here to lend an ear if you need one!
❤ Juli
TL;DR: Instead of Iago, I went crazy and did 5 different looks.
This month I am participating in the March DisneyBound Challenge! Each day Elizabeth and I will be DisneyBounding to follow the prompts created by @thedisneybound and I will be discussing our outfit choices on this blog. As a reminder, here are this year’s prompts:
Day 29 – Enchanted
It’s been a while since I’ve seen Enchanted so for today’s prompt I needed to do quite a bit of Google-ing for images related to the film. I eventually came up with the above photo from when Giselle was singing in the park being carried by the construction workers that I could play off of carrying Elizabeth. I thought it was funny but on prompt so we went with it. I wore my jean jacket and Yankees hat (because NYC, obviously), and Elizabeth wore a combination of two dresses that were both a little small but looked cute and similar to Giselle’s outfit.
Day 30 – Meet The Robinsons
So this is a bound I was excited about since the beginning of the challenge, even though I have never seen the movie. When I looked up characters I loved the mother and I even more loved her outfit as a child with her frogs. Since I used to collect stuffed frogs, this was perfect for me. A natural choice for Elizabeth, then, was her son, Wilbur, who time travels to her as a child. I love a good mother-child ‘bound, even if it involves weird time travel and especially if it involves frogs!
Day 31 – A Character You’ve Never Bounded Before
This day was a lot easier for Elizabeth than me since she’s so new to bounding so I decided to take the day off. I also chose a rulebreaker for her because it was the last day of Women’s History Month and I felt a good Rosie the Riveter would be fitting. She wore a blue shirt and her red polka-dot headband with blue pants and looked cute as ever!

This month I am participating in the March DisneyBound Challenge! Each day Elizabeth and I will be DisneyBounding to follow the prompts created by @thedisneybound and I will be discussing our outfit choices on this blog. As a reminder, here are this year’s prompts:
Day 25 – The Descendants
I’ve never seen The Descendants but I know the basic concept. Since I was the Evil Queen for Halloween, I thought I’d go as Evie this day but when I woke up I realized I was overlooking the obvious Mother/Daughter ‘bound thanks to @disneymamaknowsbest and her little princess. They had ‘bounded as Mal and Maleficent so I decided to let Elizabeth be Evie and I would be the Evil Queen. It was a bit different from my Halloween costume since in the pictures of her from The Descentants she is wearing blue. I wore a blue shirt, blue sweater, blue jeans, and my apple pendant as well as my crown (duh). Elizabeth wore her blue shirt and blue tutu pants as Evie with a blue bow and an apple necklace as well 🙂 We were quite matchy this day but I loved it.
Day 26 – Bambi
For the Bambi prompt, Elizabeth and I dressed as Thumper and Flower. I wore my black dress with a white scarf and my flower crown while Elizabeth wore her grey and white jammies with a grey flower bow. The looks were simple, yet perfect for the day.
Day 27 – Disney Parks
I was worried I wouldn’t be able to think of something for Disney Parks day but I had an epiphany when I was thinking of the different attractions at the parks. Last year I developed a newfound love of the Country Bears after joining in their dance party at the Magic Kingdom and I even ‘bounded as Big Al twice while I was pregnant. For this day, we chose Shaker and Liver Lips. As Shaker, I wore my dark brown dress and sweater, red polka dot neck scarf, and big floppy hat. Elizabeth was Liver Lips in her tan shirt and overalls wearing her red polka dot headband in her hair. We had a ton of fun with this ‘bound.
Day 28 – Aristocats
For this day, we decided to reprise our ‘bounds as the mother-daughter duo Duchess and Marie. I wore my white sweater and gold headband for Dutchess’ collar and Elizabeth wore a white onesie, white fuzzy vest, and pink headband for Marie!

This month I am participating in the March DisneyBound Challenge! Each day Elizabeth and I will be DisneyBounding to follow the prompts created by @thedisneybound and I will be discussing our outfit choices on this blog. As a reminder, here are this year’s prompts:
Day 21 – Kim Possible
I loved the animated series of Kim Possible, even if I was a little old for it, so I decided to check out the live-action movie with Elizabeth in February. I thought it was great and I was inspired by Kim’s first day of school outfit so I put together something similar for day 21! I paired my red jacket with a white blouse and jeans. Elizabeth participated as Athena in her jeggings, purple sweatshirt, and purple bow.
Day 22 – Oliver and Company
In the past I had DisneyBounded as Dodger so I wanted to do something different. I chose Rita because I knew I could wear my favorite sweater. I couldn’t find my blue eye shadow but it was there in spirit. Elizabeth was Dodger in her white and brown pajamas and red bow. I think it came out great for a quick throw together (I hadn’t fully planned her outfit…).
Day 23 – The Muppets
You really have to love the Muppets and since there are so many to choose from, we figured we’d go with the most popular – Kermit and Miss Piggy. I loved wearing my comfy green sweatshirt and my frog earrings, frog ring, and I even snuck my frog hat in there again. Elizabeth wore her pink tutu dress and pants and her flower headband. She loved the fabric of the tutu and looked adorable in it!
Day 24 – The Incredibles
I love The Incredibles but I have done so many bounds of them in the past so I was not really looking forward to this day until I watched The Incredibles 2 that morning. Any character thoughts I had before then went out my head when I realized how perfect another Mommy/baby ‘bound would be. Helen had a lot of the same reservations about going back to work as I did after I had Elizabeth and Jack Jack had a lot of Elizabeth’s personality. These ‘bounds worked perfectly as she and I wore red shirts and leggings. Elizabeth also wore a black bow in her hair.

This month I am participating in the March DisneyBound Challenge! Each day Elizabeth and I will be DisneyBounding to follow the prompts created by @thedisneybound and I will be discussing our outfit choices on this blog. As a reminder, here are this year’s prompts:
Day 17 – Characters who are/wear green
This is one of my favorite categories – fitting for St. Patrick’s day – and I wanted to incorporate what we had already planned to wear into these Disneybounds. I first thought about Fru Fru from Zootopia because of the clover on her dress, but I decided to ‘bound as her on Zootopia day instead (see it here). I then decided on the Pizza Planet Green Aliens from Toy Story! These little guys are so likable and I’ve DisneyBounded them before but I figured it would be easy to do as a group. Since we already had our green St. Patrick’s Day shirts, we paired them with blue jeans/jeggings and I wore my purple scarf and pizza necklace, Elizabeth wore her purple headband, and Dom even joined in and wore his Toy Story hat! I’d call that a success!
Day 18 – Sidekicks
I wanted to choose two sidekicks from the same movie for this day and finally decided on Mrs. Potts and Chip because it’s a mother-child ‘bound! For Mrs. Potts, I wore my purple dress (this dress is getting more love this month than I think it ever has) with a white shirt over it and my pink sweater. I also wore a pink bow in my hair in a side bun to sort of represent the tea pot lid. Elizabeth wore her white striped shirt, pink pants, and blue headband. We then had a little tea party (with Daddy freaking out because he didn’t want her to throw the tea cup).
Day 19 – Mary Poppins Returns
This is the second Mary Poppins Returns prompt I’ve had and the second time I’ve been frustrated with it. I haven’t seen the new movie yet and this made it difficult. That morning, after watching a ton of Murder, She Wrote, I decided that ‘bounding Angela Lansbury two days in a row could only be a good thing so I chose the Balloon Lady (and got to wear my comfy pants). I paired my pink sweater with a white shirt and gray sweatpants and then grabbed a balloon I had in my room. I also put some flowers in my hair to represent the flowers on her hat. Elizabeth got to be Mary Poppins with her blue pants, blue polka dot sweater, and red polka dot headband. We enjoyed posing for this picture because it meant playing with Mommy’s balloon.
Day 20 – Spring Trends
I still have no idea what spring trends are but I decided that florals are always trendy in spring so I donned my yellow floral Disney x Lulu Roe leggings that I got for my birthday last year and stared at them until I decided who to ‘bound as. I eventually saw Simba in his flower mane so I put on my yellow shirt and dressed Elizabeth in her beige floral dress as Nala. It was pretty low-key but I loved it. It was very comfortable too.
